So nice I bought it twice!
Post Via amazon in Wii Games ReviewResident Evil 4
I didn't think adding the Wii controls to this already amazing game could really do all that much. I was wrong.
It took about five minutes to get used to the new control scheme. Now I can't imagine going back.
A drawback to the new controls? The only thing I can think is that I'm a bit less conservative with the ammo. With the original Gamecube controls, there was more stop, aim, realize I didn't aim quick enough, run, stop, turn, aim, and shoot. With pinpoint accuracy using the Wiimote, it was stop, aim, explode head, explode head, etc.
Also, as I've stated in past reviews, being able to play a Wiimote/nunchuk game left-handed is especially important. Fortunately, there's absolutely no problem making the switch.
There's a ton of extras brought over from the PS2 port, including true widescreen presentation.
Think of it as everything good from both the GC and PS2, with the joyous addition of Wii controls.
If you've played this on another system, or if you've never played it before, this is definitely a title you should pick up.
