Wii Dancing Mat
I can't find a pad that works with the Wii at any retail outlets, so I ordered it here. It took about 2-3 months to get it shipped to me (Amazon even wrote to ask if I still wanted to wait for this product to get to them so they could ship it to me).
I unpacked the pad 3 days ago. Still have not danced on it. WHY? Because of the plastic chemical smell. I am leaving it outside on sunny days to burn off the smell that I find a little annoying and my husband really can't stand, it makes him a bit ill. (I got the pad for him as with the game you can only play with others if you have 2 or more pads). Think I am picky and overplaying the smell? I opened it in the living room. Our roommate who's bedroom is all the way down the hall, a good 75 feet away came out after about 20 minutes to find out what the smell was that was wafting into his room.
The smell is less and I figure it will bake out soon. But I would hate to be in the factory or the warehouse that makes these pads. Plus, if they make it so hard to get the pad, no wonder the game is not selling so well any more. But as it is the only one I could find I am gonna give it a full week to air out, then try it out. If it works I am keeping it.

Smarty Pants: Trivia for Everyone
My husband and I enjoy this game. My 4-year-old is too young to play on her own, unless we read her the questions (in which case, she can easily answer most of them that are geared to her age, but she loses interest because how fun is it to just be asked questions by your mom?). I wondered if the dancing part of it would make my husband roll his eyes and grab for something more manly, but it ended up just being pretty funny. The questions are challenging, the remotes easy to use (my 65-year-old non-video-gaming parents picked it up immediately) and the categories are broad enough to remain interesting. We've played it quite a bit and only rarely do we get repeat questions. Overall, worth the money!

Mercury Meltdown: Revolution
Mercury Meltdown Revolution is an excellent game, and it's all the more amazing given the price. If you've enjoyed the Monkey Ball series it's all but guaranteed that you'll like this game as well.
I'm giving the game 5 stars because there's no question that it deserves it, but it does have one flaw that crops up fairly frequently: the viewpoint. There are often occasions in the game where you need to split your mercury blob apart, and the game will typically pull back the camera to take in all the parts, making it difficult to control the one you'd like it to focus on. There are other viewpoint issues that crop up as well (obstructed views, no good angle available, rapid switching between blobs) in a fair number of levels, and deaths caused by viewpoint issues are frequent. But it's a testament to the game's quality that it's still so enjoyable even with these issues.
Overall, this game is a pure joy--fun, addictive, and challenging--and if you're a fan of this type of game at all, you shouldn't hesitate to try it.

Mercury Meltdown: Revolution
This game has been incredibly fun for our whole family. The kids and we parents both enjoy it. The challenges get so interesting and hard to believe it fosters laughs as well. Some appear impossible, but after a little experimenting, they can be done as well. And this game really benefits from the Wii remote. I hope we see more games like this one being released!

Petz Dogz 2
I bought this game for my 5 year old daughter. The back of the box described exactly what she likes to do: choose a puppy and make him cuter with clothing and accessories; create a comfortable pet village and guide your lovable bundle of fur through 60 fun adventures; and Compete against your friends in mini-games such as racing. Wow is this description ever wrong! I opened the manual and learned the game was actually about defeating an evil wolf (Ivlet) and his evil minion. Through the course of the game enemy animals are on the way. Ivlet cast an evil spell on the animals in the fields to make them go wild and they will attack you if you get too close to them. Your puppy can actually DIE in this adventure. There is far too much evil, attacking, illness, etc. to make this game fun for a 5 year old girly girl. You can't even dress up your dog until you play the games and earn money to buy clothes - and the first game is cops and robbers - again, not suitable for a 5 year old girl. Re-read the product description and look for the mention of the evil wolf. It's not there yet it's the primary mission of the game! I am going to return this game as it is truly not what's advertised.

Wii Frontman Wireless Guitar
Just bought the FrontMan Wireless Guitar for the Wii and love it! In my opinion it's just as good as (if not a tad better than) the original one that came with the game. I like the fact the buttons feel a bit tighter and the fret bar seems to be a tad quieter. I purchased mine in a local game store and it was still $10.00 less than the original and well worth it to me!

Major League Baseball 2K8
Baseball games have long been my favorite use of gaming consoles. From Super Baseball on the Atari 2600 to MVP Baseball 2005 on the Game Cube, I've played more innings than the average major leaguer does in his career.
Now I've got this game to round out my arsenal. I was a bit hesitant at first given the reluctance to move to 2K sports games by some MVP players, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I've been very satisfied with it and find the controls are the next best thing to playing the real deal.
If you're expecting flat out real life hitting like you get on the Wii Sports game, you won't find it here. However, you still have to swing the controller to hit the ball. It's actually easier than it sounds although you will probably fare better if you play or used to play baseball. I caught on right away, since I am used to swinging bats in real life, but an opponent I played had never played baseball and had a lot of trouble with hitting at first.
Pitching, to me, was the harder of the two elements. Perhaps the same logic applies to pitching as it does to hitting--I'm an infielder in real life--and having experience helps. It took me about three games to get used to the style of pitching. Be warned that you will wind up having half your staff ejected for hitting everyone when you're still getting used to the controls...
Two player mode is well done. Be aware that you can select the pitch by moving the analog stick--the screen doesn't display that but now that I examine it a bit more I realize that feature is intentional--otherwise you're essentially tipping pitches.
Rosters can be managed and players can be created. Existing players can be modified (Adam La Roche on the Pirates, for example, will need his number changed from 17 to 25).
Some have commented on graphics of this game. Keep in mind that this is the Wii, not the X-Box 360. I have no problems with the graphics and believe the face rendering is the best in any game you'll find out there. I also have noticed the players have every move of their batting stance in the game, making it seem even more realistic.
I recommend this game for anyone who is interested in baseball and has played at least a season or two in real life. Baseball games have come a long way from pressing the A button to swing at a pitch and now require the user to actually play the game. (If you're strictly an armchair manager, I suggest Out of the Park Baseball instead).

No More Heroes
A brief look over the majority of other reviews really leaves me with little to add so I'll keep it short and sweet. This game has appeal for those who like Star Wars style light saber fighting, anime, wrestling moves and arcade style play that doesn't require the memorization of some precise 5+ button sequence to pull off moves.
It's a fun game that often winks at the player in its humor and retro style. Are there cons to be had? Sure there are but for those looking at this to be an epic end all be all game with the best graphics ever and gameplay to match... they're missing the point. In a gaming arena filled with titles that seek to push the limits be it on graphics, number of levels, camera angles and player endurance... No More Heroes seeks to excel by way of its simplicity and it succeeds.
The game is rated M for mature and parents should keep that in mind and not assume this to be just another happy go lucky family Wii title. Violence aside, the sexual innuendo and light profanity should be enough to keep this game played when the kids are asleep or at school. Though, if you're letting your kids play other M rated titles or watch any number of things on TV ...don't let this stop you.
Perhaps the best aspect of this game is that it further goes to show that the Wii doesn't have to be relegated to kids only or family friendly titles. Nintendo likes to play to that demographic but I hope more software developers try to broaden the scope of Wii games. While not necessarily for everyone, No More Heroes is a worthy addition to the lineup of Wii games and refreshingly different from the norm.

No More Heroes
Very few games hook me for a whole week where I play a couple hours a night. No More Hereos was one of them. Excellent art direction, talented writing, cool music, and the best sword controls on the Wii make it a must play if you are 17 or older.
The downsides: basic enemies don't have much personality, the boss attacks can be pretty repetitive, it's not in HD, not multi-player.
Ordinarily, those downsides would make me give such a game a 4; I just can't do it this time though. This game is a solid 5, and needs buyer support so that they will make a sequel!

Cooking Mama: Cook Off
Excellent game. My older daughter has it for her DS game. When we bought this one for her, my younger one is loving it too. It's so much fun with all this cooking and my little one love to chopped anything in there. Now they're all want to cook for the real thing. I think this game inspiring and introduce them to all kind of food and ingredient. To them the kitchen is a completely different world only Momy can understand and work in it. Now they do understant some just by playing. They still loving it...
